What do I get if I subscribe?
For USD1.99 a month, you will get access to the Medium, Hard, Expert and Ultimate puzzles. Our Ultimate puzzles are specially curated for players that like interestingly designed puzzles.
You will also get access to our Scan function which allows you to scan physical puzzles using your phone’s camera function and play the puzzles in the app. -
What happens if I do not like the premium features?
You can always unsubscribe by going to your App Store or Play Store account and removing this subscription.

What are some tips for scanning puzzles?
- Our Scan function works best on puzzles that are on paper. For puzzles that are on a screen, increase the brightness of the screen and try to eliminate reflections / glare that may result in a sub-optimal image.
- When taking a picture, try to align the grid of the puzzle with the grid on the scanner.
- Avoid taking images where there are objects in the background. Taking pictures with a background in a singular colour works best.
- Ensure that your camera is parallel to the puzzle to ensure neither the top or bottom is distorted.

Do you have plans to make a dark mode?
Yes! We are looking into how we can help you use less power when you play The Better Sudoku by providing a “Dark Mode” in our next update. This should be in the next few months.
